ShootProof: What kind of photographs are you known for?

Layne: Wedding Photography. Having clean whites with edgier shadows.

ShootProof: Is photography your full-time gig? If not, what else do you do?

Layne: While I do work Laynes Frame “full time”, I [also] get to work for an amazing photo gallery delivery software company called ShootProof.

ShootProof: When you were a kid, what did you think you’d do for a living when you grew up?

Layne: Archeologist

ShootProof: Share three adjectives your friends would use to describe you.

Layne: Calm. Ambitious. Silly.

ShootProof: What’s your favorite cause / charity to volunteer with or donate to?

Layne: Summer Lunch Program. This is a state program in Georgia that prepares and delivers food to students in low-income communities during the summer.

Layne:

Layne: The ease and simplicity it brings to delivering galleries to my clients.

Layne: Lightroom, Photoshop, and QuickBooks. (Gotta keep a close eye on my money!)

ShootProof: What’s one of your 5-year goals (personal or professional)?

Layne: Be a more loving Husband, Father, and Friend.

I love the work I get to do, and I hope to continue growing in my craft and leaving lasting impressions on those whose stories have left an impression on me.

Also, I hope to photograph a National Park elopement soon!

ShootProof: What inspires you and gets you out of bed in the morning?

Layne: Time is fleeting, and life is short. I only have one life and hope to live it well.

ShootProof: What pisses you off and pushes your buttons? 

Layne: Constant coughing…just got to be real, ask my wife, it drives me crazy.

Layne: Steward the gifts, time, and relationships that have been entrusted to you well.
