Getting Started & Pricing

ShootProof is an all-in-one solution for photographers that combines stunning client galleries, booking, professional contracts, automated invoicing, and lab-fulfilled printing into one platform. It’s designed to handle your business from booking to delivery.

You get 14 days of full access to all ShootProof features. No credit card is required to start, and you can cancel at any time.

Plans are based on the total number of photos hosted in your account at one time. You can distribute these across unlimited galleries. If you hit your limit, simply archive your photos (you can unarchive at anytime)!

ShootProof offers a free plan (up to 100 photos) and several paid tiers (billed annually):

  • 1,500 photos: $8.33/mo
  • 5,000 photos: $16.67/mo
  • 25,000 photos: $26.67/mo
  • Unlimited photos: $50.00/mo
  • Note: Monthly billing options are also available at a slightly higher rate.

No. ShootProof is commission-free. You keep 100% of your profits from session fees, prints, and digital sales.

You can pay for your subscription via major credit card. To collect payments from clients, you can use ShootProof Pay (supports Credit Cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay in the U.S.) or other integrated payment gateways.

Gallery Management & Downloads

Yes. By assigning a Linked Contact to a gallery, you can set specific “Free Digital” permissions. You can allow them to download the entire gallery or a specific number of images.

You can set a limit on free downloads (e.g., 5 free images). Once the limit is reached, visitors are prompted to purchase additional files through their shopping cart.

Yes. Use the Visitor Activity tab in your gallery to see which images were downloaded and when. For purchased files, you can check the Email Status to see if the download link was clicked.

No. Every account includes a ShootProof Portfolio Website to showcase your work and collect leads. If you already have a website, you can easily integrate your galleries using a custom subdomain.

Watermarks & Security

Yes. Use the Refresh Watermark tool in the “More Actions” menu to update an entire gallery at once without re-uploading. Note: AI-protected watermarks must be applied to new galleries at the time of upload.

No. ShootProof automatically removes watermarks for lab-fulfilled print orders and paid digital downloads. For free downloads, you can choose whether to keep or remove the watermark in your settings.

You choose. Public galleries appear on your Portfolio Website. Private galleries are hidden and require a direct link (and optional password) to access.

Orders & Shipping

The shipping fee you see is the cost from the lab. Since your client already paid you for shipping at checkout, ShootProof simply passes those funds to the lab to fulfill the order.

ShootProof’s Support Team will handle it for you. Email support@shootproof.com with the order number and photos of the damage, and our specialists will resolve the issue with the lab.

No. All orders are white-labeled. Packing slips may be included, but they will never show your cost or the lab’s branding.

Sales & Emails

Yes. You can bundle prints and digital files into Packages within your price sheets. This allows you to sell “All Digitals” or specific combinations (e.g., 2 prints + 5 digitals) easily.

Yes. Under Studio > Email > Activity, you can see if an email was delivered, opened, or if the links inside were clicked.

Advanced Workflow & Tools

Yes. The ShootProof Lightroom Plugin allows you to upload photos, sync album structures, and republish edits directly from Lightroom Classic to your ShootProof galleries, saving you from manual exports.

Yes. You can create a custom Mobile App (a “digital brag book”) for any gallery or order. Clients can “install” this app on their smartphone home screen to view and share their favorite images on the go.

Archiving allows you to store original-size photos in the cloud for a low cost (starting at $1.99/mo) after a gallery expires. This frees up space in your active photo plan while keeping the images safe and ready to “unarchive” for future sales.

Contracts, Invoices & Studio Management

Yes. ShootProof includes a full Studio Management suite. You can create professional contracts with E-signatures and send automated invoices that allow clients to pay via credit card or installment plans.

Yes. You can set up Email Campaigns to automatically notify gallery visitors about expiring galleries, special holiday sales, or abandoned shopping carts, helping you earn more with less effort.

Yes. You can build custom packages (e.g., “The Gold Collection”) that bundle specific quantities of prints and digital downloads. You can even require clients to purchase a package before they can add a la carte items to their cart.

Support & Fulfillment

ShootProof integrates with top labs worldwide, including Bay Photo, Miller’s, WHCC, ProDPI, and Loxley Colour. You choose which lab fulfills your orders based on your location and product preferences.

You have full control. When a client places an order, you can review and adjust the cropping for every image before you officially “approve” the order and send it to the lab for printing.
